I have been accessing the same website for 4 or 5 years on my home computer. I have accessed it at work several times. It is www.lynxservices.com
All of a sudden one day at work i could no longer access it from my computer, but could on another computer at work. I have a laptop now with wireless internet and still cannot access this website. The only way i can is to use a dial up connection from my home computer. What's the deal? Do I need to change some settings?
Thanks,
Michelle

Welcome to Bleeping Computer.
You could have a problem with your Resolver Cache. Use the following command to clear the Rcache

Click on the Start button and then the Run button. Enter cmd on the input field. When the command line window opens type in ipconfig /flushdns then press <ENTER>.
Let use know if this helpped.

Just a note. If you would not mind including a little about you computer when you post you question it would help have your request answered faster. No biggie, I just thought I would mention it.
OS and version (ie 95, 95sr1, 95 with usb support, 98, 98SE,..).
Amount of RAM.
Proccessor & speed (P-II 450mhz, P_III 450Mhz, Celeron 933mhz,..)
Dialup, cable, ADSL,..
Like I said no biggie, but it will prevent us from asking the question and delaying the answer you need and deserve.

Note that the site is https://

https://www.lynxservices.com/default.asp

Knowing the OS and IE versions would help. Was this PC fully updated? What is your Internet connection setup?
