Bought NWN2 last week. I am enjoying it, but the game and maps are all way too linear.

Anyone else playing it?

Not playing it but it is getting very good reviews. Even if it is too linear, surely the massive modding community will make it a success

I played Neverwinter Nights, the original one, and enjoyed it. I may get the second one, eventually. NWN was linear, but you could create your own missions and make them as open-ended as you want.

Ahh Grinler. My son has bought that game but my computer's video card is too puny. I guess I have to upgrade but really have no idea what to get. right now I have NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420

WOW boopme thanks!!!

Well It looks like I might have to reformat to get the 6.5 GB free disk space LOL

But our processor would run it. We just need the video card. lol My mother has told him she will get it for Christmas for him. Thanks for the info.

I just beat that game. It's pretty cool, although I thought the storyline was a little lacking. Also, I kept having to tell my henchmen to attack over and over again. For whatever reason, their AI would have them just standing there, while I got my butt kicked. Still, I'd recommend it to anyone who like RPG's. gk
