I'm no expert, so, please don't misinterpret my inquiry.
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available."
The sound issue, I assume that's with everything.
But that particular message, are you sure that's related to the sound issue?
If it can't find the file it displays an error. Windows Media Player usually uses the little orange exclamations points !!!!
to indicate missing files. And if you run the search, and limit it to wherever your music is at... it puts everything back. You're NOT seeing little orange !!!!
exclamations points right?? If you're seeing the exclamation points that isn't a sound issue, that's why I'm asking. That message just seems so not sound-related. No wonder it's frustrating.
Like I said, I am no expert. At all. Me, with one of my computers doesn't just have the music in the media players list TWICE but THREE times!!!! Wanted to make sure. I might note, it was my 6 year old who showed me where the sound control on the laptop was!! Little button, imagine, I was doing it with the mouse on that particular computer all this time and I had a button right there easy to access next to the power on button.
Have a good day.
