This year I started to take my laptop to school and found that there was a wireless system installed. I dug researched it with my professers and got my hands on the WEP key. So I went to try to log in it tells me "Waiting for wireless network to be ready". If it does connect it says limitied or no connection when i have full reception in the bar. Does anyone know how to connect, could my settings be wrong?

Try this trick (it works for me).

Right click on the wireless icon in your taskbar and select Status. Then select Properties for your connection, then select the TCP/IP protocol, then select Properties for it.

The click on OK until you exit the dialog - it may magically make it work.

Check with the network folks at the school - they may have some help for you.
