Missing Hal.dll

sinds vanavond start mijn computer niet meer op in windows, maar krijg ik de melding \system32\hal.dll is beschadigd of kan niet worden gevonden.
Er is geen leven meer in te krijgen.
Ik draai windows media edition, en zou heel graag mijn gegeven sop de schijf terughebben.
Kan iemand mij vertelle hoe ik dit moet oplossen ??

Welcome to Bleeping Computer.
There are several ways to fix this problem. You should find help by doing a Google search for hal.dll. If not, come back and we'll track it down for you.
