Hi,
Can I set up XP to send and receive faxes - I have cable connection (I'm in the US).
I have an Epson 3-in-1 scanner (but without a fax).
The Epson fax program seems to only allow me to send one page faxes, and I need to be able to send 3 or 4 pages.

If it's not possible to send a fax while on cable, presumably I can remove the cable and insert a phone line? But that wouldn't allow me to receive faxes when I go back to cable?

Many thanks,
Richard

You should be able to setup your Fax software to receive incoming faxes. If you have distinctive ring through you teleco it would only pickup when that assigned number is dialed. There is no reason to disconnect you teleco from you computer while using the cable connection, unless you just choose to.
An other option is efax over the internet.
