Hi
I have had several spyware/malware infections of the last month and have been able to sort out myself (Virusblast, L2M, winfixer etc) but i have had a couple of strange things come out of it

It seems that at some point my taskmanager (im sorry that i cannot pinpoint the at which point it happend) has been patched so it doesnt display properly only shows the process windows and i can kill things off. I can also use process explorer with no problems.

This is what comes when i Ctrl + Alt + Del - i dont get the lock computer, shutdown etc... options and can press Esc to get out of it

I also was running the IE7 beta and for some reason it rolled back to 6 (perhaps it was ment to?) and cannot go back up to 7 - have tried the microsoft TB's sugestions to no avail - not sure if the is related

Hi,

I can't see anything suspicious in your log though..
Concerning your taskmanager, just doubleclick the grey border and the menu should appear again.
