This is my first time here and I wasn't sure if I should have gotten the hijackthis first but my computer is so slow, that I'm not even using it right now to post this. I do believe that the the type of Qucan I have is Qucan.b

I have tried Adware and several other anti-spyware programs with no luck. I have also tried the Infiltration Recovery Tool and Zone Alarm. I still cannot get rid of it. I went into Control Panel - Performance Maintence - system - system restore - turn off system restore..etc. Nothing! I have rebooted after and the whole nine, to no avail.

I even have instructions on how to remove it manually but do not know what the name of the exact file is or how to retrieve it. Can someone please help?

I forgot to mention that I am using Windows XP

From your description of the symptoms, you may have more than just one infection on your computer. My suggestion is to post a HJT log:
