I tried to install call of duty 2 onto my computer, which has had it installed before, but it gives this message that says "Executable 'D:\setup\rsrc\cod2.exe' had the following
unrecoverable error: Couldn't find library MSVCR80.dll (required by
C:\PROGRA~1\WIFD1F~1\MpShHook.dll) Please ensure that it is installed".
So I e-mailed the customer support at activision.com, and they told me that windows defender may be affecting the install. What is this program, and will there be any negative effects if i uninstall it?
