Hi everyone.

I am creating a database using InfoMaker and SQL Anywhere.

I have a value column in one table into which goes the cost of items.

I want to create a view which takes this column and adds another called running_total which adds the values up as they are added, i.e

3 3
4 7
12 19

............. and so on

Anyone help with the view??

Kind regards
Geoff

Hi everyone,

It appears this is not possible with SQL Anywhere 5.0.

Had to abandon the idea and use a workround.

Please share with our members what the workaround was. Someone else may in the future benefit from the information.
