I need some help please. Somehow, I lost my administrator account on my computer. I only have limited account under user accounts.

I have tried a system restore, going in on safe mode(which I am stuck in now). Nothing works. As I am not really that versed in computer repair, I am hoping one if you out there can help me!!! I can not load new programs, nor my virus protection update. You can reach me at gplash1958@aol.com

thanks for any help!!

In order to accomplish a System Restore in safe mode you need to enter Safe Mode with Command Prompt.

Try using the built in Administrator account by typing "Administrator" (without the quotes and with no password unless you set one for that account) when it asks you to logon .

Type the following command at a command prompt, and then press ENTER:

Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to restore your computer to an earlier state.
