Awlryte - I just surfed in (don't even know how I got here) I don't have any computer problems at the moment, except that this computer uses XP. The only reason for that is because it's fairly new, and it came with XP already installed. I prefer Fedora Core (used it for years on my last computer), but since I paid for this software, I thought I'd use it and see how it measures up to FC. Not bad - sure is a lot of commercial crap though - no really good apps (like GPL and GNU/Linux apps)

I still haven't found a good free video stream capture program! Sure they have Web cam capture and DVD ripping and all that, but I still haven't found a broadcast stream capture program! Linux had a great one, (can't remember the name offhand, but still have the RPM in my backups) but it was never ported to msdos. too bad - some of the basic, totally free applications for linux are orders of magnitude better than their equivalent msdos commercial apps! (IMHO)

Someone should develop a "linux emulator" for msdos! :flowers: but I should be watch what I say - that is sacrilege :inlove: could even be called blaspheme! Ahhhh - it's too late!! I've already thought it! Oh no!!

How can you tell I'm just a cheap old man!! :trumpet:

BTW - I developed this log in ID in 1983 when I needed a name for my electronic servicing company, it's my full name initials + my business pursuit (sort of!) Weird too - it doesn't have any numbers or caps or punctuation, but it always seems to work!!
