Hi there, I'm new to this forum. Basically I had my OS changed from XP to Server 2003 and now the sound is not working. I have been informed that my sound card may need a driver, but I dont know how to find out which one I have. I have tried various links etc but nothing has been successful. I have apackard bell computer, I cannot seem to find a model number. Is there a universal driver I can use as I badly wanna watch my downloads! Please help me geniuses!

Wlcome to BC unknown2k6, You can use the link below to insatll a utility that will give you he exact info of what is in your PC. Then you'll have the proper card and some one can find you the driver..

EVEREST Home Edition - a freeware system information, system diagnostics and benchmarking solution for home PC users. Similar to Belarc, but much more comprehensive. -
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
