First time builder with question on XP Home install. Have a SATA WD OEM hard drive, installed the os on an available partition using fat32 file system, after system reboots message appears on bottom of screen stating that setup is starting windows, but after a minute setup screen appears again. If I select the partition that was just created a message appears stating that another operating system is installed there and warning against installing 2 os's on one partition. Any advice on how to get windows to launch would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you install the SATA drivers from a floppy by pressing F6 during the installation?
