How do I tell IE7 to do this? It gets annoying when I click on a link and entire new instance of IE7 opens. I just want the link to open in a new tab.

I cannot find the setting for this? Has anyone else found it? Thanks!

Here is a test link: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com

When I click on that link an entire new instance of IE7 opens.

If you right-click the link there should be an option to open in new tab.

Ahhhhh, I see (said the blind man)! Thanks.

Is there a setting to make this behaviour permanent?

The reason is because I use this page a lot: http://malwareremoval.com/search.html When using that page, when I make an entry and then click on Search Now a new instance of IE opens. Well, it is not uncommon to use the page 50 times while checking a HighJackThis log. That is a lot of windows to close.
