Hello,
I have Need for Speed : Most Wanted and I created a ISO and I'm using Daemon Tools and S4Hide to Play without the DVD, but even with the original DVD I still have the small problem. Either If I use the original or the DTools method, The program opens up but then after a black screen it exits back to my desktop.

Any Advice?

Thank You

TBH, I'm not sure what causes this. I've had other games do the same thing, most of which were fixed by uninstalling the game then reinstalling. The only other time that I've had this happen, I had a bad graphics card that I had to replace (it was cheap, and I then replaced it with another cheap card).

Hope this helps!

Thank SA,
I got a 128MB 700MHZ RAEDON x700 PRO, Thats more than enough to play NFS:MW from what I heard, it plays NFS: Carbon Smoothly so it should play NFS:MW. I tried the uninstall/reinstall several times but still no luck.

However, I have played it fine before on this same computer and few days after the "V1.13" update this error started occurring.

Thank You

you actually got a backup to boot this game? I couldn't get anything to work. I did get it to run without the CD by using a no-cd cracked exe. I also had to defrag 7 times each time I played.
EDIT: this was the only way I could get it to work at all..

I would recommend you defrag a few times (not just once) and run a scandisc. then it should boot without any problems, especially using the original DVD

*Supported video cards: NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX/GTS or greater, ATI Radeon 7500 or greater; Intel 950/i915g; S3 GammaChrome S18 Pro. Laptop models of these chipsets are not supported.

I don't think your card qualifies, but I've been wrong before. however, this is the most likely explination

hi
my obvious advice is to not screw about with the game and install cracks and whatever! it works just as well as the cracked version, but you just dont need a disk. just dont mess around with it in the first place. Im sorry if this seems rude, just take some friendly advice!
