The sound on my other computer echos half the time. It echos on some things some times, but if you play the same sound file later on it wont echo. Can anyone help fix this problem? Its gets annoying as you watch something and it doesnt echo, and then it starts echoing half way through.

Is there a microphone plugged into the computer at the same time? If so that'll be the culprit, and you'll need to mute it, or disconnect it.

Also, check your Audio settings and make sure you have the settings set correctly. The 3D boost will also cause the echoing too. Make sure you don't have that checked.
