web cam blues

:thumbsup:Hey peoples!..............hope this finds you well :flowers:

Ok i wanted to use my web cam .....since my pc is down .......i thought i could just load it on to this one that i am using now.......and all would be just peachy :trumpet: NOT!!

I will try and keep this as short as i can.hehe...i plug it in and turn on pc, so far so good lol.....loads hardware finds a driver then opens this window stating " due to hub transfer failures, a hub has been disabled. , check my pc cablin and devices, and restart"......been there done that still the same thing..

I currently downloaded Belarc Advisory, actually i got that sweet piece of info ...off of here!!thankx guys! it a to kewel tool :thumbsup: ...Ok anyway Belarc recongnizes the darn thing......shows up under Bus Adapters : Intel 82801AA USB Universal Host Controller.. Then i go to the device manager...It lists it there to cept for one little yellow exclamation.....on the second USB Root Hub....I cant figure it out .....makin me krazzy!.

Oh yea i am running win98...pc's an Intel.....

and i just want to be able to use it!......should'nt be that difficult really.......... :inlove:

If it has a manual check the troubleshooting area.

Next does your pc meet the min requirements?

You say it plugs in on a hub? Try it directly.
