I am trying to uninstall my Epson printer. I managed to do it yesterday and reinstalled it again - did a SR but it still will not work.

I cannot now uninstall it using the add/remove programme.

I have 4 entries

Epson file manager
easy photo print
printer software
scan assistant

and when I try to remove them all I get is problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience
Information may be lost.

I have also tried using Add/Remove Pro v 2.08 but get the same answer.

What next.

I'd suggest downloading the latest version from the Epson website. Then try and install it over the existing installation - this may repair the broken stuff that's keeping it from being uninstalled.

You may want to consider using this free tool (it's the last freeware version) to monitor the installation (so you can manually remove it if needs be): http://www.aplusfreeware.com/categories/util/uninst.html
