Im new here and not the most experienced in techie language.

I have today attracted " VIRUS BUSTER " on my lap top. I have tried everything to get rid of it. Windows Defender, Active Virus Shield, Adwarealert. None of these have detected it, yet there it is on my taskbar, smiling and popping up at me every two minutes telling me that " system detected virus activities. this may cause critical system failure. please use antispyware software to clean and protect your system from parasite programs"

The laughable thing is that this is a parasite i just cant shake.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Is this a dangerous bug? can i move it without spending a fortune (have already spent $60 on AdwareAlert and it doesnt work. Cheers
