I have this avi file that won't play in sync on windows media player. The codec is DivX, if that makes a difference. Do I need to convert it to something else, change the codec or what? I need this clip for a presentation in one of my classes. Please help!

Use VideoLan.

It'll play many formats. It FREE

If that doesn't fix it, then the avi was probably encoded incorrect. It does happen.
