I am getting two different error messages on my lap top. The first one is system 32 which I understand is a file missing but I don't know how to repair it. The second error message is "Error:0x080508018." that came from Windows Defender. But when I did a complete scan, Defender turned up nothing. Can someone help me please??

Have you previously removed viruses or spyware from your system? If so, the system32 error is most likely an entry that wasn't completely cleaned from your system. What's happening is that a program is looking to start another program - and it can't find it, so it opens up the folder so that you can pick it.

Also, the Windows Defender error could also be a result of this incomplete cleaning. I'd suggest uninstalling Windows Defender, then download and uninstall the latest version. This should fix this error.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
