When I type in Windows Live Messenger and I hit the backspace and I finish erasing everything and I hit the backspace with nothing in the window well it makes a beep... It's really annoying... Any ideas where the option is to disable this??

It has only been doing this since I installed my mp3 player... a Creative Zen V

Mute the sound  . What you may have to do it turn off the sound in the control panel of that program.

Well I have juste now confirmed that it is a system sound and not a Messenger sound since I get the same thing when I win a game of solitaire...
