Hi All:

I like to use NOTEPAD - simplest is often best - to write dirinfo.txt files and find the Windows 2K message that comes up every time I click to SAVE very irritating:

You are about to save the document in a Text-only format which will remove all formatting. Are you sure you want to do this?

Of course I'm sure. That's why I'm using NOTEPAD instead of WORD.

Does anyone have a good tip for suppressing this unwanted message?

Cheers,

scratcher.
