Hello all,

I have a rare situation. My brother manages a large retirement community on a lake in Florida. They have two club houses, a marina, their own volunteer fire department and their own TV channel of all things. I have not seen the station, but he says there are 2 dishes and a room full of electronics.
He said there is a computer in the station and he has one in his office also. From what I am hearing they are old since he doesnít even have a CD burner on them. So I would bet that the videocard and memory are not the greatest either. I donít know how any of this works but he mentioned that it is text based channel to broadcast calendars of events, holiday greetings and so forth. He is trying to use PowerPoint to create his content so I would assume that he has to broadcast with the computer in the station.
Can somebody lead me in the right direction here? I am not new to computers but I have not used PowerPoint. Is this the best way to go or would it be easier/possible to create using some other program? Maybe
an HTML editor and Paint Shop Pro, Flash, NVU? If we create a video to insert in PowerPoint does it need to be a certain format or resolution and size? I guess I am really looking for some guide lines to follow and the easiest way. Maybe a site with a tutorial on PowerPoint?

Thank you

If it's a text-based channel, then I doubt that PowerPoint would work on it. You'll need more details in order to figure this one out.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
