Promblem With Thinkpad T-60 Connecting To Internet

Is this a software or hardware problem? it cannot connect hardwired with an ethernet cord or wirelessly. Any suggestions

Have you ever been able to connect and now it does not work? Or is this a problem with creating a new connection? If it is a new connection see the following MS document: To make an Internet connection If you are having a problem with an existing connection we will need more information. Such as is it dialup, DSL or cable? Is there a router or not?
