My system slows down and down and down until it starts to lock up.

The reason I know is because the task manager shows the pf usage go up and up and up at the the same time the system slows down and down and down, it gets so bad the pf usage gets up to 3g !

This happens with next not a lot open.

I have run adaware and spybot but it still happens.

Thanks for any help

Running xp pro

Todays leak got the pf usage in the task bar up to 3g ! I re booted and it is working at good speed again

What processes are consuming all the memory? Check the Processes tab in Task Manager and look for excessive memory consumption (not the CPU usage).
