This is just a short "hello". I've been building and working on PCs (and Macs) for a number of years now...taught myself most of what I know (and figured out the rest). I don't know everything...of course not. But I'll help with anything I DO know.
I also have worked as a Dialup and Broadband Tech for the Evil Empire...America OnLine (and after therapy I'm able to admit that as well!)
There is one simple rule to follow that is just common sense...there's more but this is probably the easiest to follow:
If you change anything...DOCUMENT IT! Write down what it was before...or better still, make a copy of the original before you take any action on it. Trust me...you might save hours or DAYS of trying to figure out how it was before you messed with it, if you do something as simple as this.

I really agree with you there, :thumbsup: Writing every thing down, I tell everyone keep a book beside you, all the time, No what Name u used , :flowers: What Passwords :trumpet: and most of all, what the heck was that website I just signed on to> :inlove:
Just new here today, but so far have passed this website to a lot of people, can see it is going to be so useful. :cool:
