I've just yesterday formatted my HD and installed a fresh copy of XP Pro.
Everything went well till I installed SP2. Now I've only got 4 Bit color & 640 x 480 screen resoloution.
The XP wizard tells me they are all wrong and askes do I want to change - I click on yes but nothing happens.
Has anybody got any ideas what I can do to fix this little problem ?

The best thing to do would be to call Microsoft Support.

Any problem resulting from the installation of a Critical Update is entitled to free support from Microsoft.

Technical support is available from Microsoft Product Support
Services at 1-866-PC SAFETY (1-866-727-2338).

Thanks, but I googled a new driver which I found on HP's support site. Works fine now.
