Error Message Wrong Cd Running Sfc After Xp2 Update

Trying to run sfc I am prompted to supply win home xp 2 disc to replace files.My xp2 was an update from CD (supplied by MS),when load the C D as prompted it says it's the wrong one.Can anybody explain?

You need to put the Windows XP Installation cd in the drive when it asks for the cd - not the SP2 cd.
