Hey. i have a NetGear router, and i was wondering how i get into the settings so i can check for firewalls and such. Every time i try to play an online game i get disconnected with " No log on" or "client timed out while answering challenge" most people have said it's my router, and/or firewall problems. I have NO firewalls running at the moment to my knowledge, the Windows firewall is off, and NO anti virus programs are on.

people keep telling me to check 4662 TCP, 4672 UDP, 4711 TCP but i don't know how to do that. any help?

I believe the address to get into your Netgear router is and the default logon is "admin" (without the quotes), and the default password is "password" (without the quotes).

Netgear support is down right now, so I can't get you the exact location in the interface. I'd suggest cruising around an looking for the place where you can adjust the ports (I believe that it's something like Rules or Services).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
