Hi folks. It's my first time here so you can guess I'm in trouble and here's what happens:

I have Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 and I'm running Norton Systemworks 2005 properly updated. Norton keeps alerting me about this:

Intrusion: MS ASN1 Integer Overflow TCP.
Intruder: 201.37.246.140(3428)(4097)
Risk Level: High
Protocol: TCP
Attacked IP: [my computer's name and IP]
Attacked Port: netbios-ssn(139)

and this:

Intrusion: MSRPC SrvSvc NetApi Buffer Overflow (2).
Intruder: 201.37.247.69(3798)
Risk Level: High
Protocol: TCP
Attacked IP: [my computer's name and IP]
Attacked Port: netbios-ssn(139)

I've runned Spybot Search & Destroy and it took out some nasties. I also runned SpySweeper 4.55, Ad-Aware, McAfee Stinger and Norton. They didn't find a thing. Window's updated. Window's firewall is active. And I've no idea what to do to stop those alerts. Here's my HijackThis logfile:

Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1

Hello DuaneBarry and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. I see no signs of viruses or malware in the log. It is clean.

The messages are popping up because another computer is attempting to connect to this computer. Norton is simply doing its job by blocking the attempts. If you do not wish to see the notification every time there should be an option in Norton to turn off the notification and it will then just block the attempt silently.

Cheers.
