Hi guys

This is my first thread here, I have a problem about my pc .

Well ...I have got a virus from yahoo msger "thecoolpics " my yahoo start sending silly msg to my friends in list

also in IE .. for the defult browser it still be in this link http:/ /thecoolpics.com/
some of my friends told me about AVG ..but it could not help me

what should i do ?

This is a difficult infection. You need to follow these instructions.
Preparation Guide for use before posting a HijackThis Log
Then post those results HERE
Once you've posted your Log in that forum DO NOT make any further changes to your PC until the expert instructs you with what to do.
Please be patient as this is a very busy bunch of volunteers. But you will be helped and properly.

You will need to remove that from your system. It'll take several tools,so that's why I recommend you post a HiJack log.
