49 yo Computer nurd. First machine was an Atari 800 (I was poor ok). Next machine 286/12 20 meg Hard drive . I have owned 386, 486, 586, 686, ( Yes I bought Cyrix ) Long time gamer and AMD fan. I built most of my machines. I even did BBS's before the Intenet (joined not owned). I know DOS and all Windows products. I have Linux on 1 machine and plan to migrate to the OS. Microsoft has gotten too greedy and I'm not donateing any more of my money to those *#@*. I'll leave XP on my game machine only. I will not buy Vista.
Anyway I have been interested in Spyware etc for some time. I battled an extensive infection on my fathers machine. He had some 50 some odd infections, including Gator which I removed brute force. (That was fun). Whoever wrote that mess I HATE YOU. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits.
Anyway to all the Guys who help out on this board a hearty THANK YOU.
