Hi,

New here as you can tell because i misspelled my screen name

Okay here we go!

New Build: AMD Venice 3500, Seagate 7200.10 320GB hdd, nvidia NF4LU-A9 mb , Kingston Hyperx @ GB ram

Installed OS , but can't load any drivers or install anything. I have turned off the auto restart and it still restarts! I wiped HDD clean and reinstalled and it still crashes and the auto restart button is off and it STILL RESTARTS! when I try to install anything.

I am hoping it is a BIOS problem but the user guide I have only goes into where to plug evrything in on mb.

It does create an error message that says an unrecoverable hardware error but that there is not enough info to determine specific component and continues on to impempending doom!

I was told to type eventvwr.msc from the start/run menu and I managed to get this.

1. WinMgmt- A Rsop planning mode providor has been registered in the WMI namespace,root\RSOP, but did not specify hostingmodel property. This account is privleged and the provider may cause a secutity violation if it does not correctly impersonate user requests. Ensure provider hasbeen reviewed for security and update hosting model property to an account with the least privleges possible for required functionality.

2. CmdTriggerConsumer, has been registered in the WMI namespace,Root\cimv2. This account is privleged....

3. HiPerfCooker_v1 has been registered in WMI namespace,Roo\Wmi, to use the local system account. This account...

Now for system errors.

1. Error code 0000009c, parameter1 00000004, parameter2 80545ff0, parameter3 b2000000, parameter4 0070f0f

I am so lost! :flowers:

Any help is greatly appreciated

Here's a link for the STOP 0x9c error: http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.php#0x9c

The most common problems are:
1) overheating
2) bad hardware
3) overclocking

So, I'd suggest resetting your BIOS to standard settings (unplug the system, then remove the battery for about 1/2 hour)

Then, check to ensure that you've got good thermal grease between the processor and the heatsink - and that the fan is operating. Also check your video card to see that the heatsink and fan are properly seated and functioning.

If this doesn't fix it, then try stripping the system down to basics in order to try and get it to boot without errors. Let us know how it works out!
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
