Hello chasgallo

What OS (Win XP/2000, etc) do you have? What type of anti-virus are you using and what other scans have you run? Did you try doing your scans in "SAFE MODE".

If you have not scanned with any of the following, I recommend you start here:

Download and scan with Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06. Setup & Configure as shown here.
Note: If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here.
Download and scan with Spybot S&D 1.4. Setup & Configure as shown here - (do not choose the option to install TeaTimer)
Note: If you encounter any error messages while downloading the updates, manually download them from here.
Download and scan with SUPERAntiSypware Free for Home Users
Note: If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download and unzip them from here.

If your running Win XP/2000, download and scan with AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 in "SAFE MODE".
(This is Ewdio 4.0 renamed. If you already have Ewido installed, please update to this version which has a special "clean driver" for removing persistent malware). Be sure to print out the AVG Anti-Spyware Install-Scan Instructions.

Then perform this online Virus scan: Trend Micro Housecall <- Use "Autoclean" and manually delete what it can't clean.
[Watch the Address bar in IE. You may receive alerts that "This site might require the following ActiveX control...Click here to install...". Click on that alert and then Click Install ActiveX component.]

Also download, install and update SpywareBlaster which blocks spyware tracking cookies and restricts the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer by adding a list of sites and domains associated with known spyware, advertisers and marketers to the Restricted Sites Zone.

Thanks for getting back to me, any help is always appreciated.
I am running Windows98 XP. I have done scans with the adware product, Skybot search and destroy, and Trend Micro house call. Have run them a few times, lately twice a day. I will try the other software recommendations you gave me now. I have run some in safe mode, a few days ago. I also have Mcaffee Virus always running.

Almost everytime I run the Spybot program, it always finds Avenue A, Inc. I always remove it, but then it comes back. The other products find tracking cookies which I also remove.

Is there any way to get rid of that Avenue A, Inc so it does not come back?

Thanks again for your help, and I will try to run the other stuff you recommended now.
