look this applicatioin or anything for this:

at the end of a good hunt for usable urls I may have 20 or more urls on the subject I am doing, of which the best I like to put into a list to post to for my canned replies

ok, I get this far

runbox command
- press keyboard buttons: winkey + r
- paste this in slot: %userprofile%\Favorites
- press: enter

now I want to put some of these urls icons into text, for example

the icon
BleepingComputer.com (Powered by Invision Power Board)

plain text
BleepingComputer.com (Powered by Invision Power Board)

cut/pasting both the url and the url name = slow and tidious(but I get there with it)

simply: I am look for either a third party program, or some tweak that will allow me drag drop urls in and get text out. help plz
everyday is a gift

I'm not sure what you're trying to do - but I'll give it a shot!

First, have you considered using Notepad for the text? That way the URL's will be text only.

Next, have you tried right clicking on the link and selecting "Copy Link Location"? I have my bookmarks file as a bookmark in Firefox - and it loads into one of the tabs. Then I just right click on the URL and select "Copy Link Location" and paste the URL where ever I need it.

I also right click on a bookmark, then select Properties, and then copy the URL.

Does this help?
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
