Was asked to try to fix a friend's computer, having had a problem described to me involving Virusburst. (A vague description indeed)

Having checked out the problem somewhat I tried running one of the automated fixes as decribed on one of the forums of this site. However it doesn't seem to have fixed the problem. They are still getting the same bogus system warnings. The fix at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/63896/how-to-remove-virusburst-removal-instructions/ suggested I should post the task.txt file (created by RoguesScanFix) contents here for advice. So here goes:

Export SharedTaskScheduler key
------------------------------
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler]
"{438755C2-A8BA-11D1-B96B-00A0C90312E1}"="Browseui preloader"
"{8C7461EF-2B13-11d2-BE35-3078302C2030}"="Component Categories cache daemon"

I'm no tech genius, so I'm at a loss for what to do about it now. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi Mudget ........
As`the tutorial didn't clean it, I'd say you got something deeper and suggest you follow these instructions
Preparation Guide for use before posting a HijackThis Log . please be patient as thus is a very busy gruop ,but you will be helped and properly.
One more thing ..after you make that post DO NOT make any new changes to the PC. It will only make the the process more difficult to discern. Thanks
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
