Just curious. Every other forum I go to I can get there by simply typing forumname.com but here I have to type www.bleepingcomputer.com. Why is the www needed here? Is this some sort of dns thing?

When i type http://bleepingcomputer.com in the browser it takes me to the home page properly.

It will redirect you to www.bleepingcomputer.com.

Doesn't work in IE though.

But in Firefox you can just type "bleepingcomputer" or any other variant that would show as the first hit on Google into the adress field.
