I will check your log. It will help if you select "track this topic" so an email will alert you when I respond. That may be 24 hours from now, maybe even more. I am training. My work is checked by experts for accuracy & this takes longer than usual.
You are fully updated. Your log is in the right place and in good hands. Please limit the use of your computer to careful online & email functions only for a little while. Any installs/uninstalls of program ahead of advice can complicate matters somewhat. Thanks for your patience.

Hey, 111. Please be careful doing all the steps, in the order they are presented. The instructions you should either copy/paste to notepad
or save the web page to your HD.

Set your PC to: show hidden files. Additional information here.

Regarding the HijackThis: C:\DOCUME~1\OWNERM~1.000\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 1 for hijackthis.zip\HijackThis.exe
should look like this C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe on your log.
To make it that way: click Start Button-->My Computer-->Hard Disk Drive C:\-->File-->New-->Folder and name it HJT.
From where it is now:
Move To-->Browse-->select C:\HJT. In this way the program will save backups automatically to that folder and we may need them.

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode by tapping F8 until the screen appears where you can use the up arrow to choose safe mode.
Hit enter twice. Windows will open. Click Yes to proceed to the desktop.

Open your C:\HJT folder and double-click the icon. Close everything except HijackThis, nothing else open on your desktop.

Run Hijackthis: click Scan, and put a checkmark next to each of the following objects.
http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customi....yahoo.com is believed to be part of a java applet called
redsherrif that acts as spyware and also is a Yahoo resource wasting redirector

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customize/...//www.yahoo.com
O4 - Global Startup: winlogin.exe

When you're sure that files marked for deletion are correct, click the Fix Checked button.

Delete manually:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\winlogin.exe<--this file
note: this is different than a very similarly named
good, necessary system file called winlogon so be careful.

Delete Temp Files
To clean out your temp files use: Start-->Run-->type in: %temp% and press the ok button.
This should open up the temp directory that your machine uses. Please delete all files and folders found in the temp folder.
If you get an error when deleting a file, skip that file and delete all the others.
Doing this in Safe Mode you should be able to delete all the files.

Reboot your computer to go back to normal mode.

Delete Temporary Internet Files
Use Start Button-->Internet Explorer-->Tools-->Internet Options-->General tab-->Delete Files button
and put a checkmark in Delete offline content. Then press the OK button.

Empty the recycle bin.

Open Notepad. Copy and paste the contents of the following quote box in to Notepad and save to your desktop as find_bad_dlls.bat

dir C:\WINDOWS\System32\*.dll.dll > C:\baddlllist.txt
notepad C:\baddlllist.txt
del c:\baddlllist.txt

(Double)click on find_bad_dlls.bat and copy/paste the contents of the resulting text file to the next post.

Run HijackThis again and post a HJT log from each account, if this computer has more then one account, as replies to this post.
(Include comments regarding any problems you might have had, and let us know if its working better. Some additional options may exist)
