Hi, I have downloaded HIJACK THIS on reccomendations from various "threads" which i was trying to get information on how to remove a rotton hijacked homepage/ freshbar/ strip poker pop-up on my husbands computer.

I have downloaded HIJACK THIS and did the tutorial and made sure the configuration was right. I have now scanned, and have the log......
(Please help me)

Hi

Open Kaspersky 5. Click the Settings tab --> Configure Updater --> select From Internet, extended databeses, click OK.

Click Protection tab --> Update now.

When finished:

REBOOT into SafeMode by tapping F8 key repeatedly at bootup: Starting your computer in Safe mode

Perform a full scan. Delete anything it finds.

REBOOT normally and post a new HijackThis log please.
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?
