Whenever anyone joins our company, I send them a short note simply stating, "welcome to the Monkey House". Rarely if ever does anyone get the connection to Kurt Vonnegut.

Oh well, I must be old. And so it goes.

I am old and I am new to the site.

I'm on a mission to be a self-taught networkcentric kind of guy by 12/4/06 because on 12/5/06 I start a training session for some minor certification in streaming media, yadda, yadda and one last yadda.

The site has given me quite a bit of exposure to processes and acronyms that I recognize but didn't actually know enough about to discuss intelligently. OK, ask any of my ex's, I can't discuss anything intelligently.

But I digress...

So, to those of you that are brand new, "Welcome to the Monkey House"
