I tried to run controlling after extraction, but it gave me a message saying that the application has failed to start because dwmapi.dll is not found. :clapping:

Are you facing a slow booting issue also and you wish to check your hard drive?  When you say "controlling" do you mean the Gsmartcontrol program is not extracting correctly?

Please...do not make random comments in topics initiated by others...such will be deleted since they only confuse the stated issues in a topic.  I have created this topic for whatever XP issues you believe you are facing.
