I am building a computer with a with ASUS mb listed above. I can find anything that will show me exactly where the front panel wires go on the mb. There is no mb header I looked at my ASUS system I have running and I see a decent header on there but nothing here. Can somebody help me with where these wires go

With the manual in hand study the bottom of the board, that is the usual location of the pins.  The wire are marked at the plug ends match them to where the manual shows the.  They usually have initials that will match the plugs.

Right now I have the mb in the case should I take it out? I can see the labels on the wires the manual shows next to nothing and mb ise not showing anything on top. It used to show a diagram numbering all the pins on the mb and where wires go like power switch the wiring diagram would show things like power switch 1 and 3

I wire in the case, there should be a pin out in the manual.  Without it it will be an issue!

It's in the manual. See pages 1-15,1-16,1-17 (front panel)

Also keep in mind that the connectors for the power and reset switch ARE reversible while the front panel LEDs won't turn on if they are connected backwards.

I'm not sure what you mean by not working. According to the manual your front panel connector is not in the image. It's above SATA port 1. In your image it would be below and to the right.
