I had the opportunity to upgrade my OS from windows 8 to 10 so I took it. It auto installed onto my 1 TB hard drive on my laptop. I have an empty 25GB SSD in the laptop i would like to migrate windows 10 to. I have access to a 6TB external hard drive as well. The  only things installed onto the 1TB hard drive in the laptop is firefox, and winrar.

How do I go about this?

you have another topic HERE with the same title

As JonnC_21 advised you....that ssd is too small. Windows 10 is a space hog.

Here are the system requirements for Windows 10 (and what your options are if your PC doesn't meet them): Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC. RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for a 32-bit version, or 2GB for 64-bit. Hard disk space: 16GB for a 32-bit OS; 20GB for 64-bit OS.

The 5gb left over is NOT sufficient for an OS to run.

If this was Linux you were installing, you would be fine....but win 10....No.
