Hi. . .

I processed all 14 dumps and they were all identical in that the probable cause is listed as the Microsoft networking related driver netio.sys; the process running is listed as MBAMService.exe (Malwarebytes service) and a Malwarebytes driver named mwac.sys is found on the stack in the dump, making MBAM the real culprit here. netio.sys is simply listed as a default of sorts and being a Microsoft driver, it cannot be the actual cause.

I have seen thousands of these identical dumps for weeks now and honestly don't know the true cause as MBAM says it is not them. However, the MBAM driver mwac.sys is the only 3rd party driver on the stack text which means it is the guilty party.

Some users that have Avast installed said that changing from Avast to another anti-virus fixed it for them.

Even though I am on staff at Malwarebytes Forums (actually more like a Visiting BSOD Expert), I have no other choice at this time to suggest that you remove MBAM to stop the BSOD epidemic and wait until MBAM comes out with their next new version.

Regards. . .

jcgriff2
