Hi everyone, I am finding a tutor or a collective group who wants to pass their knowledge to people like me at their free time.

I have tried signing up for several courses at udemy.com and I felt that there are much more to learn.

I am very inquisitive and I'm willing to spend a good amount of time mastering this, so I need someone to guide me through this to make sure everything is done right.

Specifically, web security (more towards browsers) and operating systems. Would like someone to guide me from the foundations doing hands-on exercises in a controlled environment.

Would you be my mentor? :) @Replicator

What I can do for you is help start you on the correct path......We need to gauge your depth of knowledge on this topic already.

I have PM'ed a link to download one of my study ebooks (from my cloud) that I want you to read through, and then present any questions you may have here on the forum.

Its titled "The Browser Hackers Handbook".....A complete guide!

To truely understand security, we must learn the methods that Blackhat Hackers use, and then learn to Implement them in an Ethical fashion for our own protection against them.

Does this make sense? In order to be a better Golfer, we should try to emulate Tiger Woods swing as well as his short game!

Check the book out, and set yourself an understanding that puts you on the right track.

I have another great learning curve book regarding 'Web Security', once you are done with this one!

Let me know if there are any issues with the download.

Regards

Rep :)

I would suggest reading this forum as well as Wilders and Malwaretips on a daily basis for the next 6 months or so, you will be able to pickup a boatload of knowledge on web security as well as suggestions for helpful tools for the same. Some comments you may have to take with a grain of salt though, after the 6 months is up you will have a better idea of what web security entails as well as any sub-categories you may want to explore.
