Can i install visual studio 2017 IDE on windows 8(not 8,1)

 

because i searched in MSDN then in this site wrote :

Supported Operation Systems

 

Windows 7

 

Windows 8.1 

 

Windows  10 (S version not supported)

Maybe yes, maybe no. If it will run on W7 and 8.1 I would expect it to run on 8.

 

Why not just try it and see ?

I tried . i cant install it  

 

 

 

it mean i have no way to install that IDE in win8 ?

Well, since Win 8 is no longer supported, why don't you run the update to Win 8.1 which is I believe supported until some time in 2023 ?
