So I have software on my PC that I'd like to get rid off. It's a content filtering software that someone has put on my machine and I want to get it removed. You can't uninstall it as you normally would, since it requests a password to do so, which I obviously don't have.

A friend of mine had helped a long time ago, and ultimately he created at batch file to disable it when I want to. At the moment I can't find that file and he doesn't have it anymore. I'm gonna try to give as much info as I remember of what he did. He figured out that the software must hide the services it's running, so he figured out which service is doing the hiding, disabled it in safe mode, then he disabled the actual service that runs the software. I remember one of the services being "icwatchdog" or something like it, I tried to find that service but I don't see anything even close to that name. The software has a debug report option, so I ran that in the hopes of getting more behind the scenes info, but they were clever enough and the files are password protected. However, I can open the folder and see it's contents, so here is what it contains.

ic10                       Text Doc

info_20180715      Text Doc

reg_hf                    Registry

reg_hfservice         Registry

reg_icdispatcher    Registry

reg_icservice         Registry

reg_icwatchdog     Registry

reg_wfpliv              Registry

reg_winsock2        Registry

So what can I do to find and disable this software? Or if someone has a good free password protected zip cracker, i can open the files and view it's content.
