Your moderator had a slip of the fingers.  I'm in the process of trying to get it restored.  It should be back shortly.

Haha.  I went to click on page 2 and got "You don't have access" message, lol.  Thanks, brite.

We can continue here if you can't get it back up.  I had a response to a specific guy, and I remember his post.  Let me know.

Give me a short while.   This is a mistake that's a first time one for me, but I cannot find any instructions about how I would undelete something I've deleted.

"The Proper Authorities" have been consulted and I feel relatively certain that we will have the topic restored in a short period of time.

By the way, JohnC_21 did already say that your test results indicate your drive is toast and I'll add that if you haven't backed up all your user data or cloned the drive to another before it fails completely I'd suggest you do that now.

Ahh, cool.  Also, yeah, that's the exact post I was going to respond to.  And here was my response: I haven't backed up the drive, but the guy who wanted me to fix it said there's nothing on it that he cares to keep.  He just wanted a clean start.  I guess I'll tell him that he needs a new drive, and I'll get Windows 10 reinstalled on it.  The only issue is that I don't know which version of Win10 he had on it.  I'm guessing Win10 Home 64-bit (is there even a 32-bit version) since it's a plain HP Pavilion laptop, but can't be sure.  Do I need to download and use a tool to figure that out, or is there an easier, tool-less way?

But, like you said, if it's going to be back up soon anyway, you can just delete all this, and I'll post this again when it's back up.  Thanks!

And since this topic was simply to let other participants know that it would be back, and it now is, I shall lock this topic.

Thanks to all for their patience.
